The fashion and beauty crowd are a demanding lot and the essential “quality from start to finish” attitude is there from camera to print in my wedding photography too – old habits die hard!
Anticipation is a key skill for reportage wedding photography – you need to see the girl ready to run into her mum’s arms before it happens in order to be ready for it. It’s this skill which will give the most meaningful documentary images.
But most of all your day should be fun!!! … and my easy nature will relax you in front of the camera as we laugh and enjoy the experience of having your photo taken. That will make the biggest difference to your wedding photographs and it gives my work a style of its own.
Throughout your day it’s important to me that you have plenty of time for your guests. Not only will they appreciate speaking to you, but it gives me opportunities to capture the connections between you, your friends and your family.
As much as it is a massive privilege to capture your day, the best part of my job is hearing about the tears afterwards and how much the photos mean.
