Simple is beautiful…

Sometimes a photograph just needs to capture the beauty of the scene and a simple approach is best – just a bouquet being held in front of a bride in her dress can make a stunning image.

The colours and detail in this bouquet really pop, which is a result of the unique post production which I consider so important to finishing my work.

Photo of the month

This months “photo of the month” was from a wedding at Mottram Hall.

The photo is a perfect moment between a couple who have just been married. It is only possible with a truly unobtrusive reportage style of photography. I spend much of my day looking for these moments since the connection between people brings wedding photographs alive.

They asked for the vintage effect for their photos which gives a warmer, brighter, brown toned photograph.

Take a look at my other wedding photographs.
